Nursery Cooperative Staff

The Nursery Cooperative is currently staffed by a Director, one full-time Research Associate, and one half-time Outreach Assistant. The director, Dr. Richard Cristan, has a split appointment, sharing his time with being an Extension Specialist & Associate Professor of Forest Operations at the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment. The Research Associate, Nina Payne, helps plan and conduct field and laboratory research including experiment layout, establishment, measurement, and statistical analysis. Our Outreach Assistant, Elizabeth Bowersock, shares her time with the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment and assists with budgets, meeting arrangements, newsletter publications, technology transfer, graphic design, website maintenence, and other administrative and outreach objectives.

Several College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment faculty members also work with the Nursery Cooperative in the establishment of research projects, technology transfer, and publications. The amount of time each allocates to Nursery Cooperative activities is related to their own discipline and interest in nursery work.
